The flagship product for Gamma Medica is the Triumph™ imaging platform. The Triumph system combines PET (LabPET™), SPECT (X-SPECT®) and CT (X-O™) modalities in the world’s first tri-modality system.
Imaging modalities that are non-invasive so-called in vivo imaging have become very important. These modalities have been used more and more to study animal models longitudinally. These non-invasive imaging systems can be categorized into primarily anatomical and primarily molecular imaging techniques. Techniques such as micro-ultrasound, Micro Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Micro MRI) and Micro Computed Tomography (Micro CT) are usually used for anatomical imaging, while optical imaging, Micro Positron Emission Tomography (Micro PET), and Micro Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (Micro SPECT) are usually used for molecular visualizations.
